Ultra-Poly Corporation was founded in 1974 in Newark, New Jersey and is presently headquartered in the Portland Industrial Park in Portland, PA. Over the course of our 30-year history, Ultra-Poly has developed an industry-leading expertise in reprocessing post-industrial plastic scrap. At the same time, we have added the capability to compound, blend, and package a wide variety of materials at our state-of-the-art Portland Facility. Today, our customers include most of the major plastics manufacturing and processing companies in the United States, and we offer a broad range of products and services to meet their needs. We supply everything from reprocessed polyethylene pellets, to highly specialized made-to-order virgin compounds. We are a "one stop" source for virtually all of your plastics needs, but what sets us apart from the rest of the industry is our unique approach to customer service. We work with our customers on a continuous basis to help them cut costs by eliminating waste and providing a less expensive alternative to current raw materials. At the core of this philosophy is our "toll" processing business. We will pickup a customer's scrap, pelletize it, and ship the product back to them so that they can introduce various waste streams back into their process. In the last three years we have developed revolutionary ways to process new materials, namely post-industrial carpet, and we have taken our customer service to a new level. We have installed proprietary operations for our larger toll-based customers in order to help them drive down operating costs. We pride ourselves on this highly customized approach to customer service.
