University of Mary Hardin-Baylor
Located in Belton, TX, The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is a Christ-centered co-educational institution of higher learning affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas. The University seeks to provide a quality higher education for qualified students from diverse geographic, ethnic, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds as they prepare for careers and community service. UMHB was chartered in 1845 by the Republic of Texas, and in 1971, the oldest college for women west of the Mississippi became co-educational. The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is currently ranked in Tier One of the U.S. News & World Report as one of America's best universities in the Master's West Division.
