To meet the challenges of global competition in terms of education, research, and innovation, 20 research institutions joined forces as the Paris-Saclay Campus Foundation to create Université Paris-Saclay. Several large international companies have already located their research, development, and education centers on the Paris-Saclay site, and together they are responsible for over 15% of French research output in the fields of agriculture, energy and engineering, and advanced computing.
