Urban Intellectuals (UI) is an organization that is focused on the growth and development of Black People. Originally with hopes of becoming the premier source of black news and information for Black People, our purpose has been changed of late. UI is now a Media Activist organization meaning not only do we report on the news, but we also create it. Instead of waiting for the things we want to see happen so that we can report them, we have decided to create the world we want to see and report on it as it changes. A revolutionary idea to be sure. In exchange for your confidence, support and backing, we will provide you with education and resources to change yourself, family and community. In addition, we are working to develop a network of black businesses to provide you with opportunities to spend your money in the black community and get discounts on those purchases.
