During that time he worked with large scale enterprise clients on managing the quality of large scale software projects, such as DHL, Huawei, BMW, Rabobank, ABN AMRO and various dutch government projects. He was instrumental in establishing the first TÜV certified software lab that can objectively measure the quality of software systems, based on industry standards. He started Utilus with the express goal of making software development more predictable, more cost effective and faster. His vision is that with the ever growing amount of available high quality software services, the era of "packaged" software is over. Making bespoke, supremely productive software is now more cost effective and more sustainable than buying and implementing a large "enterprise" software package, and a whole lot more fun to use. Tobias has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam
