Business ethics is the part of applied ethics that examines ethical principles and moral or ethical problems that can arise in a business environment. A more common approach to CSR is corporate philanthropy. This includes monetary donations and aid given to nonprofit organizations and communities. Donations are made in areas such as the arts, education, housing, health, social welfare and the environment, among others, but excluding political contributions and commercial event sponsorship.
