Valtellina Spa

The Valtellina Group draws on the experience of Valtellina, the company founded in 1937 in Bergamo, a city some 40 km from Milan, in the heart of Italy's most dynamic, industrialised region. The Group, still run by the Valtellina family, is now a major business (with over 1,500 employees) and is active in increasingly international operations. During the first thirty years of its existence, Valtellina specialised in providing telephone network infrastructure services (construction and maintenance). It has gradually extended its activities and range of services to include various strategic sectors, including copper and optic fibre TLC networks, mobile phone network apparatus, networking and medium voltage electricity lines in addition to land-line networks. Today Valtellina is increasingly active in the field of "green ICT", namely integrated infrastructure for ICT networks, systems and technology. Two other important areas of growth are infrastructure for electric vehicles (charging stations and carports) and energy optimisation systems.
