Our 'low and grow' approach to extending credit and high levels of customer contact has already assisted over 2 million customers in the UK alone and underpins our successful business model. You can trace Vanquis Bank's roots back 130 years to Bradford when our parent company, Provident Financial first started. Our founder, Joshua Kelley Waddilove, created a system that allowed local working class families to provide for themselves through vouchers that could be exchanged in local shops. The families would then pay back the vouchers in small instalments.
