Vaught
Chris Vaught and his team at Vaught, Inc. absolutely love problems. When the company started as a health care consulting firm in 2008, clients came to Chris and the team with a wide array of problems they just couldn't solve on their own. The team researched the problems, developed solutions, implemented them and saw how they revolutionized the clients' operations. Then they thought, "You know, these problems aren't unique. And our solutions could help other organizations, too. We might be on to something here." Since then, the Vaught, Inc. team, based in Beckley, West Virginia, has launched eight stand-alone businesses around its innovative, creative and practical solutions. NightWatch and DayBreak provide remote pharmacy services for hospitals. MedMatrix Solutions manages functions such as medical billing, marketing, consulting, and practice management. V23, LLC, is the launching pad for innovative and unique products for the health care industry. Element MDS (medication disposal system) is a revolutionary product that solves the increasing problem of how to safely dispose of unused prescription medications. The Hospice Rx Network develops product and service solution strategies for hospices and hospice related businesses. Indigo Health develops custom solutions for organizations whose primary function is not health care, but includes health care as a significant component. DreamTable offers customized software solutions not only for the health care industry, but for various other industries that require customized integration with existing hardware and software. "Vaught, Inc. is differentiated not only by our unique solutions, but the fact that we customize each solution for each client, plugging into their existing systems and infrastructure," says Christopher R. Vaught, President and CEO. "We meet them where they are, not the other way around." What began as seven problem solvers working in a one-room office is now more than 60 dedicated professionals serving health systems, hospitals, physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, chiropractors, psychologists, pharmacies, hospices, and school systems in West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. Vaught, Inc. is listed on Inc. magazine's 2012 Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. And they're always looking for new problems to solve.
