The Vera Perlin Society

The Vera Perlin Society is a non-profit charitable organization which was founded by Mrs. Vera Crosbie Perlin , O.C.,LL.D in 1954 and her work continues some 56 years later. The Vera Perlin Society offers quality programs and support to individuals with a developmental disability and their families in the St. John's and surrounding area through: Career Development, Community Living, Employment and Administration. The Perlin Centre provides a quality day program for individuals with a developmental disability 18 years of age and older living in St. John's and surrounding areas. The following programs are offered at the Perlin Centre: Artistic Expression Ceramics Community Access Program Computer Lab Program Creative Arts Domestic Science Industrial Arts
