Virginia Institute of Autism
The Virginia Institute of Autism is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1996 by families seeking more effective treatment and schooling for their children with autism. Now serving nearly 200 clients spread over more than a dozen school districts and jurisdictions across central Virginia, VIA offers three main programs: the James C. Hormel School, Outpatient Behavioral Services, and the Adult Academy.
