We are specialist independent consultants with extensive expertise in higher education impact, policy and knowledge exchange. This includes the broader economic and social role of higher and further education. We undertake research and consultancy on the economic, social and cultural impact of universities and colleges. Our track record in higher education analysis goes back over 25 years, undertaken initially as part of our university-based research work and latterly, since 2011, as Viewforth Consulting. We have developed a suite of models and analytical frameworks for assessing the impact of tertiary education at national, regional and local level. These include input-output modelling (of UK and Republic of Ireland), gravity modelling and application of cost-benefit analysis techniques to capture broader economic and social value. We also separately offer a project bid preparation and evaluation service for clients considering commissioning economic and social impact studies.
