Villa Park Trucking

Villa Park Trucking was founded by Don and Kathleen Clift in November of 1969. At the time of its creation Villa Park Trucking was built on one truck with one driver servicing one customer. At the inception of VPT our business was hauling loads as a Sunkist Contract Carrier. Based out of the Sunkist packing house in Villa Park, VPT hauled loads from citrus fields to a packing house in Orange, Ca, and a juice plant in Ontario, Ca. From the Sunkist packing house packed fruit was transported to the Long Beach Harbor by VPT. Villa Park Trucking remained in it's starting location at the Sunkist house until 1982. Thirteen years after it's creation VPT had outgrown its first location and made a move to Corona, Ca into a full service trucking yard. Villa Park stayed in Corona for eighteen years until yet again more space was required to house and repair all of our equipment. At this point in an attempt to better service our customers VPT decided to have two full service terminals, one in southern Ca and the second in central Ca. With an emphasis on customer service Don and Kathy were able to build their one truck company to what is now considered a large fleet of trucks with a multitude of trailers and services. In thanks to our roots we harbour strong beliefs in the value hard work, attention to detail, and above all creating a friendly and family like rapport with our employees and customers. With those values and word of mouth from our customers our company has grown from its humble origin to a full service fleet capable of servicing customers on the west coast, east coast and everywhere in between.
