Vizou
Vizou(«good aim in Québécois vernacular) is a creative firm dedicated to the artistic development and promotion of products in the cultural milieu. The company offers a range of creative services that include content development; production; CD, web and communications design; writing and translation; and strategic marketing assistance. Vizou has designed countless CD covers and web sites for artists and cultural organizations, and principal Dana Whittle is a founder of Folquébec, a not-for-profit whose mission is to promote Québec folk music worldwide. Dana has under her belt more than twenty years of experience in communications design, advertising, marketing, illustration and writing. From 1988 until 1995, she was a founding principal of Marketing Arts, a successful communications design firm located in Vermont that generated an abundance of creative work for a national clientele. In 1996, Dana emigrated to Sainte-Béatrix, Québec, in the Lanaudire region, where she established Vizou. Her communications expertise and understanding of the music milieu made her services especially attractive to artists. She has worked on a wide variety of projects in many domains; her design and writing style is flexible and her versatility is her true trademark.
