At Volta Presentation, we recognise that the business decisions we make everyday have a huge impact. We understand that agricultural practices have a knock on effect on both our own health as consumers and the health of the whole eco-system. Overuse of pesticides signals bad news for animals further up the food chain, having a detrimental impact on wildlife and insect species, , and allowing toxic fertilisers to find their way into ours streams and rivers with the resulting destruction of fish and water life. As an eco-conscious organisation, we understand that we must view ourselves not as an isolated business, but as part of a long cause and effect chain that it is possible to break and influence for the greater good. We play our part on the chain by reducing damage to the environment at every step of the growing process, from planting and nurturing through to harvest. We are convinced that working this way not only produces a better and healthier product for our customers, it saves us money in the long-term to reinvest in our organisation to continue to grow and develop new initiatives to promote rural development.
