VOLUNTEER ARMS

The Volunteer Arms is a traditional Scottish family pub and restaurant located a stones throw from the scenic and historic Dunbar Harbour. Our small but cosy pub is well known for its great atmosphere with friendly staff, offering the very best location for good food and drink, and, of course, excellent service. We are a favorite spot for many locals and regularly see members of the lifeboat crew (they fly their flag outside), fisherman, as well as sailing and rowing clubs. Premium pub food can be enjoyed down in the bar or upstairs in our beautiful restaurant, the menu caters for all and regularly features a number of local seafood dishes. Outside you can enjoy your pub grub and real ale in the lovely Scottish sunshine seated on our North facing patio.
