Volunteer Challenge is a CUSTOMIZED volunteer program; it was formed in 2004 by its founder Teresa Tellez who initially worked as in country coordinator for several international volunteer organizations and currently runs one of the best developed, customized and flexible Volunteer Programs in Bolivia as it is Volunteer Challenge. Over 600 volunteers participated of the program in Bolivia so far and gained a lifetime experience at this exchanging culture opportunity. Volunteer Challenge is based in Bolivia and offers two destinations in country, one is in Cochabamba which is a beautiful city located in the valleys of Bolivia, with a privileged weather it is called the city of the eternal spring or the garden of Bolivia. The second option is Santa Cruz which is the biggest city of Bolivia with a tropical weather with temperatures that rich 40°C during summer has fascinating green natural parks. Volunteer Challenge's volunteers come from a range of different backgrounds and locations all over the world. Volunteer Challenge is a non-political and non-religious volunteer program. Although it is a for profit organization that gives service to volunteers from all over the world while helping the local community, our prices are the lowest in the market since our costs are reduced by been based in the destination country. We have set volunteer positions in two cities of Bolivia; they are Santa Cruz and Cochabamba. Our volunteer's contribution goes 100% portion to the local community it covers the local administration costs, website promotion and maintenance and the services offered to our participants. The host projects are carefully researched and the staff at the projects is well trained to work with volunteers. Volunteer Challenge gives you the opportunity to choose your project in a wide range of areas giving you a flexible service to match your interests. When we say customized service we mean that we can find a project that meets your interests and skills at your request. Another advantage of volunteering with Volunteer Challenge is that you could work in two different projects during your stay at no extra charge that way you make more local friends, gain more experience and take the most of your stay in Bolivia while your help reaches to more people. Our staff will be constantly monitoring your work at the projects, accommodation conditions and you'll be close to the people that you initially contacted to arrange your volunteer project before your arrival, this way we can avoid misunderstandings and you can be sure that all your questions prior your arrival will be quickly and in fact clarified.
