1. VONECOVIC is a non-political and honorary international association, founded on September 14th 2003 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, and reorganized 2007 in Hamburg (Germany),Switzerland and Norway. 2. The association is based on Christian values and wants to work for peace, reconciliation and righteousness between people via songs, music and poems. 3. Nsengiyumva Minani Félicien, later called Femi, is an artist from Burundi who through his singing and text-writing is fighting against violence and injustice. The association is a channel for those who listen to Femi and want to support his mission by donating to the association. 4. The donations from Femis activities and other funds are used to help the poor and orphan children of Pygmy people in Central Africa, especially in Burundi. 5. The association is led by a board of four people. Members of the board have a two year term and can be re-elected. The board manages the association. The board manages the funds of the association. The use of the funds are in accordance with the articles point 2 and 4. Admission of new members into the association is decided by the board. 6. The annual meeting is held annually before April 1st. The board presents a written report of the activities of the passed year. The annual meeting decides upon changes of articles of the association. The treasurer presents an income report, expenditures and balance. The annual meeting elects an auditor from outside the board. The auditor writes the financial report. 7. An annual contribution of a minimum of 25 US Dollars is required for every member of the council of administration. The association has two categories of supporting members namely: Our fellow sympathizers, who buy our CD, DVD and books or who participate in our concerts and the members of honour, who support the association financially in a regular manner or occasionally or by their gifts in kind or cash. 8. The association can cease to exist by an unanimous decision on the annual meeting. In this case association funds will be donated to a purpose decided by the annual meeting.
