Washington Institute of Sports Medicine

The Institute is located near the Evergreen Medical Campus in Kirkland. It was founded in 1996 by Dr. David L. Parker, a Physiologist, and Dr. Steve Bramwell, a Sports Medicine Physician and Orthopedic Surgeon, and other medical professionals in physical therapy and preventive medicine. Over the last 15 years The Institute has trained over 8,000 professional, collegiate, high school and team athletes in its Athletic Performance Programs, performed thousands of fire fighter physical exams for 10 regional fire districts and provided physical therapy for thousands of patients. The Institute has worked with and provided Sports Medicine Support over the years to the Seattle Sounders, Seattle Thunderbirds, and college / university athletic programs. The Washington Institute of Sports Medicine is internationally recognized.
