Watergen is a Tel Aviv, Israel-based tech startup founded in 2019 with a mission to use state-of-the-art technology to provide humanity with a renewable source of high-quality drinking water, extracted from the air, making it available anywhere, on-demand, and at a reasonable cost. Using its patented technology, Watergen extracts water from the air with maximum efficiency. In addition, Watergen is also its technology to strengthen ties between the Jewish Nation and the Arab World. According to the United Nations, more than one billion people wake up every day without access to clean and safe drinking water, Watergen came up with a game-changing solution that uses humidity in the air to create clean and fresh drinking water. Making water out of air seems farfetched, today Watergen's impact is creating both an additional clean drinking water source and accomplishing it in the most economically efficient manner, making its unique technology available to all. Generating the water directly from the air enables Watergen's solutions to be completely independent and autonomous, requiring no infrastructure whatsoever but electricity, making it literally a plug-and-drink solution, aimed at everyone.
