Book your wedding or corporate party in our Grand Ballroom with private bar and breathtaking views. The original Waverly Beach was built here in 1886 by Peter Massonette. When it first opened it served primarily as a popular swimming destination. Built as a resort, it featured dancing every night and drew huge crowds...might be because ladies were always free! In 1924 the wooden Jack Rabbit Rollercoaster arrived along with a zoo featuring monkeys and a penny arcade. In the 1940's and 50's the roller rink, dance hall, custard stand, and amusement park were the talk to the town. The 1960's brought the famous Waverly Beach Ballroom featuring national acts like Guy Lombardo, Benny Goodman, and Tommy Dorsey. The existing Waverly Bech was built in 1996 and has gone through many renovations in the following years, with a few more coming soon!
