We successfully completed the customer's task and currently support and develop the site. Vesuvio Pizza opened its doors in Ukraine in 1992. Vesuvio Pizza was the first to make fresh pizzas for Kyivans to savour. Our pizzas are made in an American style - the main difference between the American style and Italian is that our pizza are deep dish and we offer a large selection of toppings. Vesuvio Pizza is a favourite of Kyivans and visitors to this city, who appreciate our Italian kitchen, good music and great service. And even though a great deal has changed over the 20 years since we first started Vesuvio, our quality continues to retain its high level. What did the client require? The previous web-site of the customer was made with poor quality. The visitors couldn't make an on-line order and view the menu comfortably. So, as the result, the team were losing their customers every day. How did we help them? Our task was to develop a web-site which would help them solve several problems: design the web-site according to customer's client's requirements; to allow the customers of the site make an order on-line; create a Pizza builder (make own compilation); let the crew of managers be aware of the orders (fulfilled via the web-site) on-line; capability of adding/editing/removing goods on the web-site; create section for news, comments and references. We decided to use CMS Drupal 7. We created a completely corresponding-to-the-requirements web-site which works on several domains. We stumbled several problems during the work over this project: Pizza builder; Goods catalog with function of adding into the order list pizzas of different diameter. The compilation tool was created by us of nothing and it allows a customer to create recipe which he or she likes. We also developed a section for administration where one can set some certain components and change the cost of them. The catalog was designed with the use of CMS Drupal e-commerce technologies. We also created a function which allows to set a great variety of diameters and calculate prices of those. DrupalCamp Kyiv is an annual conference which is held in Kyiv, it gathers the Drupal-developers from around the World in Ukraine. It has a form of two-days bar camp; each day consists of a few "waves" of reports. The list of reports is made beforehand. There are also time for discussing which appears on the event. And also code-sprint will take place on the event. DrupalCamp Kyiv is led for 7 years or so, and it became traditional for Ukrainian community of Drupal. It began in 2008, when the group of interested people gathered on informal meeting in the hall of G-Club with reports and questions.
