Webber Architects

Webber Architects is a Newcastle based practice encompassing over fifteen years experience in architecture, urban design and interior design. We are currently working on commercial and residential projects involving architecture, interior design and urban design projects in Newcastle, the Central Coast and regional NSW. We have been involved in various architectural, master planning, urban design and interior design commissions and studies in association with other consultants. As well as working with private consortiums, other clients include: - The Australian Customs Service - University of Newcastle (Callaghan and Ourimbah Campus) - Newcastle University Sport (NUSport) - Catholic Schools Office (CSO) - South Newcastle Leagues Club - Cooks Hill Surf Life Saving Club Director, Jon Webber is a Registered Architect and a member of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA). Jon is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of architecture, interiors, and master planning projects. Andrew Barnard, an Associate at Webber Architects is duly supported by our project teams. Jon was previously a Director of the former practice Buzacott Webber Pty Ltd and prior to this worked for well-known London based firms, MacCormac Jamieson Pritchard Pty Ltd and Tate and Hindle Pty Ltd with clients including University of Cambridge and the Greater London Magistrates' Courts Authority (GLMCA). Our team at Webber Architects is actively involved in local sporting and social clubs and activities as well as the AIA, the Hunter Business Chamber (HBC) and the University of Newcastle. We provide student mentoring and are involved in critiques for the University of Newcastle's School of Architecture. We participate in the HBC Regional Infrastructure Committee and conduct guided walks through our projects for the Australian Architecture Association (AAA).
