Webster Trucks

Webster Trucks is a division of Motors TAS Pty Ltd ("Motors") that was purchased by A.P Eagers Ltd in 2016. Webster Motors has extensive interests in the heavy and light automotive industry. The Group employs approximately 420+ employees in Tasmania with 120 staff being directly employed in the Webster Trucks division. Webster Trucks was formed in October 2007 when Motors acquired the heavy truck business from Webster Limited. Webster Trucks heritage dates back to the early 1900s when it imported heavy machinery (including 'Lorries' and agricultural equipment) in crates ready for assembly. The business continued to serve the heavy transport industry and commenced selling and servicing Mack trucks in 1958, this makes Webster Trucks the oldest continuous Mack dealer in Australia. The integration of Webster and Motors Trucks has seen this long heritage continue as Motors sold and serviced Dodge Trucks in the early 1900s, becoming the Bedford dealer in the 1950s that then evolved into Isuzu trucks - a franchise we continue to support. Webster Trucks has been the dealer for UD Trucks since 2001 and was appointed the Volvo Trucks dealer in 2008. Webster Trucks is proud to be the sole authorised Tasmanian dealer for Isuzu, Mack, UD and Volvo Trucks. Webster Trucks has the most extensive retail network of service/parts outlets in Tasmania with facilities located in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie. The Hobart and Launceston facilities are sales outlets for all four brands. Webster Trucks provides all customers with a state-wide 24 hour 7 days a week break down support service. In addition to the break down service Webster Trucks can also perform heavy duty recovery with its dedicated recovery vehicle. Webster Trucks workshops are all quality certified ISO9001:2000 and registered to conduct road worthiness inspections for heavy vehicles. Webster Trucks has factory trained technicians and participates in the franchisors training competency programs to ensure we keep pace with the latest developments and technologies.
