Wellington City Mission
The Wellington City Mission has been serving those in need for 115 years. We're a charitable trust affiliated to the Anglican Church. We have been helping those most in need in the Wellington region for 115 years having been formed in 1904 from St. Peter's Church. In 1929, an Act of Parliament established The Mission as a separate entity. The Wellington City Mission can support you in a number of ways, regardless of your circumstances. We provide transitional housing, rest home and hospital-level residential care. We welcome you into our Community Lounge where you can enjoy the company and community of others. We also provide food parcels, budget advice and financial mentoring, and 1 to 1 support and advocacy. We are open to anyone who needs assistance, regardless of their religious belief, age, ethnicity or social background. Together, we work to identify and address people's underlying issues to create positive outcomes.
