West Holdings Corporation is a Japan-based holding company. The Company operates through five business segments. The Housing Renovation segment is engaged in the provision of general renovation work for residential housing. The services rendered include roof construction, exterior wall repair and piping works. The Detached House segment is engaged in the direct operation and sale of detached houses with land. The Civil Engineering segment is involved in the construction of public civil engineering works and private housing. The Land and Building Development segment is engaged in the construction, sale and renovation of non-wooden building, including land and building. The Others segment is involved in the operation and management of the whole group and the collection and utilization of real estate information from local financial institutions, among others. On April 16, 2008, the Company sold a Tokyo-based subsidiary to a Hokkaido-based company.
