The West Caldwell Public Library selects, acquires, organizes, and preserves print and non-print materials of contemporary interest and permanent value for the education, intellectual stimulation, research, business needs, personal growth, and pleasure of the entire community of West Caldwell. The Library upholds the principles of intellectual freedom and the public's right to know by providing people of all ages with access and guidance to information and collections that reflect all points of view. The Library designs and provides its services and facilities to satisfy the varied information needs of its community and encourages the use of these resources by keeping the public aware and informed of their availability.
