Whaling City Transit

Whaling City Transit is a family owned and operated transportation company, which has been servicing the Greater New Bedford and Fall River areas since 1972. It was originally called Neves Bus Company after its founders, Rachel & Joseph Neves. The business started with the vision of Rachel Neves of providing factory workers with affordable transportation to and from work. The Company grew from a single van servicing these workers at a rate of $3.00 per day to a fleet of over 125 vehicles and 140 employees. In 1986 the company incorporated under the name Whaling City Transit and continues to expand at its two locations, but our vision of providing safe and affordable transportation remains the same.
