Whangarei Heads School

Whangarei Heads School is located 30km east of Whangarei, surrounded by bush on the lower slopes of Mt Manaia, overlooking the entrance to Whangarei Harbour. The School was established in 1858 and has a proud history of serving its community well. It serves a supportive and active rural and coastal community. The School has a decile ranking of 8P and currently has U3 status with a roll that fluctuates between 105 and 120. It is a full primary school which adds to its special character.
