Whitemarsh Valley Country Club

Whitemarsh Valley Country Club

Whitemarsh Valley is extremely proud of our tradition of golf and our standing as not only one of the top private clubs in Pennsylvania and but also one of the premier private clubs in the greater Philadelphia area. Our course, founded in 1908, was designed by famed golf course architect George C. Thomas Jr. Whitemarsh hosted the 1917 Patriotic Open, which was played in place of the U.S. Open that year, the 1934 U.S. Women's Amateur, and for eighteen years (from 1963-1980) the annual Philadelphia IVB Classic on the PGA Tour. Notable winners of the IVB include Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus (three times), Tom Kite, Tom Weiskopf and Tom Jenkins. Our Club prides itself on being our members home away from home. Whether on the golf course, at the pool, or in the Thomas Grille enjoying an award winning meal, Whitemarsh has something to offer everyone. It's all here!
