WPI has focused on both architecture and planning for the past two decades. When architecture and planning designs are cohesive, we believe a better built project results. We work cooperatively with the client, civil engineer, landscape architect and City planners to develop site plans that are effective, efficient and creative. A good example of this planning philosophy is the Chuparosas master plan located in Chandler, Arizona. Through cooperation with multiple developers, active neighbors, City staff, Planning Commission and City Council, we developed a 40-acres master plan at the corner of Germann and Dobson Roads. Retail uses at the corner have visual and pedestrian connections to the multifamily residential to the south as well as the Church campus to the west. The different uses are not blocked off into separate quadrants, but instead have a more organic boundary and complementary architecture.
