The Junior Woman's Club of Williamsburg

The Junior Woman's Club of Williamsburg was established in 1954 as a non-profit, volunteer organization of civic-minded young women. We support a wide variety of charitable organizations and community services through financial and volunteer assistance. Our club is primarily made up of women between the ages of 24 and 45. Most of our members are residents of Williamsburg, James City County, and the Bruton District of York County. Visit our Membership page to learn how you can become a member. The Junior Woman's Club of Williamsburg is proud to be a member of the General Federation of Woman's Clubs (GFWC) and the Lee District of the Virginia Federation of Woman's Clubs. GFWC is one of the world's largest and oldest women's volunteer organizations. It was founded in 1890 and now has over 100,000 members in every state and nearly 4,000 clubs in various countries. The Lee District was formed in 1925 and is the second largest of the eight districts in GFWC Virginia. Stretching from Fluvanna County to the Chesapeake Bay, it is comprised of more than 1,355 members.
