Windy City Amusements owns and operates over 50 rides and attractions throughout the greater Chicagoland area. We have rides for all ages including our spectacular 65' tall Century Wheel complete with a dazzling LED light show, the Cliff Hanger, Himalaya, Zipper among many others. In 2014, we will be taking delivery of a brand new spectacular attraction direct from the Netherlands, the Freak Out. The Freak Out is a popular thrill ride that swings riders back and forth while spinning them. Since the late 80's, we coined ourselves as having "the best kiddieland in the Midwest" featuring a large variety of colorful children's rides such as the Carousel, Raiders, Tea Cups, Balloon Race, Speedway, Dizzy Dragons, Free Fall and many more. Our dedication to providing the little ones with quality rides has been a priority for many years. In addition to our world class rides and attractions, we also have a variety of game and food concessions. Our games are designed with the player in mind with most games allowing kids to play until they win. Merchandising is a strong component to our games. While some carnivals award players with a poor quality toy, our games award players with a higher quality item and allow them to trade smaller prizes in for a larger piece. Aside from games, we also serve a variety of food items such as funnel cakes, caramel apples, soft pretzels, corn dogs, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, and more. In 2009, we implemented a midway beautification program. Such program consisted of adding more benches to the midway, automated ticket booths with ATM machines, uniform "Size Wize" ride height signs and measurement sticks, and LED lighting. Such amenities will help enhance our customer's comfort level and ultimately enhance their experience at one of our events.
