william carey university is a community of learners which seeks to blend faith and learning with living. within this unique and challenging environment students prepare to fulfill their diverse callings in the larger global community. wcu offers baccalaureate degrees through the schools of arts and letters; education; natural and behavioral sciences; business; religion; music; and nursing. master’s degrees are offered in business, education, counseling psychology, english, history, biological sciences, biomedical science; music education, and nursing. specialist in education degrees are also offered by the school of education. doctoral degrees are offered in osteopathic medicine, higher education administration (starting fall 2012), and nursing education and administration (fall 2012). the academic year is divided into three trimesters of eleven weeks, plus summer sessions.
