Wobben Windpower

The Wobben Windpower Industria e Comercio Ltda. is the first manufacturer of large size wind turbines of South America, which was installed in Brazil in December, 1995. It was created to produce components and wind turbines for the domestic and export market. In addition to design, they install and provide technical service assistance for Wind Power Plants. It's also the first independent production of electricity derived from wind power which was authorized by ANEEL. There are four owned plants in operation, three of them with over 15 years of operation.
