Wooden Kiwi Productions is a project management, design and construction firm located in Waltham, Massachusetts, specializing in production support for the dance and theater communities. Founded by partners Richard Wood and Peter Colao in 1991 to design, develop and build specialty dance floors, Wooden Kiwi has been serving the arts and entertainment industry ever since. Our clients have ranged from individual artists to the MIT Media Lab. From the Boston Center for the Arts to the Big Apple Circus. Our revolutionary kiwiFLOOR sprung dance floor is found in dance studios throughout New England and the modular Rosco SubFloor is sold throughout the world. Our floors can be found from Maine to Miami, from home studios in Somerville to movie studios in Hollywood, from high schools in Texas to the Moscow Ballet at the Kremlin in Russia.
