Woody's Seafood Saloon was established in 1993 by Todd, better known as "Woody. Apparently Todd bore a striking resemblance to the character Woody from the television series "Cheers. Todd set the standard for great food and excellent customer service. Building a brand can be very difficult; building a brand in the Virgin Islands requires a special breed of genius and an elastic liver. Todd managed the business for several years before deciding to move back state-side to explore other ventures. Todd (not the same Todd) and Chad took over the business and maintained Woody's standard of excellence. In addition, Todd and Chad started Help Save Second Base, partnering with the St. John Cancer Fund to support St. Johnians with cancer. The Annual Block Party is held every October, and all proceeds from the event go directly to the St. John Cancer Fund. Mark your calendars and come party with us for a good cause. Eventually, Todd and Chad decided to begin the next stages of their lives, so they entrusted the Woody's legacy to a couple of regulars. Paul and Kris, the current owners, have frequented Woody's for over a decade and have spent many nights drinking cold Coors Lights and sharing baskets of Shark Bites. They love the atmosphere, the people, the food, and the drinks exactly the way they have always been, and they are just smart enough to NOT CHANGE A THING! Paul and Kris are 100% committed to continuing the tradition of Woody's for many years to come. The management team includes: Dan, Kitchen Manager. Dan has been with Woody's for over a decade. Dan is famous for his home-made hot sauce. Dan is in the middle of negotiations with a major retail giant for distribution of the hot sauce as a food product or industrial cleaner… No one is really sure yet. Clay, Director of Operations.
