Work & Training is a state-wide not-for-profit company established in 1988. The past 30 years has seen Work & Training establish an excellent reputation for the delivery of services and business partnerships across Tasmania. Our vision is to be the provider of choice for quality employment and training services in Tasmania. We are a specialised provider of: Group Employment Services (employment of trainees and apprentices) Nationally Recognised Training and short courses Labour hire and permanent recruitment Foundation Skills Programs The organisation is committed to increasing the skills and employment opportunities of all Tasmanians, including working with indigenous and culturally-diverse people, long-term unemployed, and people with a disability. With offices located in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and employing in excess of 40 dedicated team members across Tasmania, Work & Training are well equipped to meet the employment and training needs of the State. Part of our commitment to the development of a skilled Tasmanian workforce is our direct employment of approximately 300 trainees and apprentices, and 500 students enrolled at any given time in vocational programs.
