World Cruising Club

Founded by Jimmy Cornell in 1986, World Cruising Club has since grown to become the leading organiser of offshore sailing rallies. In the US it organises the ARC Caribbean 1500, ARC Bahamas and ARC DelMarVa rallies, plus the ARC USA from the British Virgin Islands. The best know rally is the annual Atlantic Rally for Cruisers which takes over 270 yachts across the Atlantic Ocean each year. Since 2008 the World ARC has been circumnavigating the globe via the Panama Canal and South Africa. Since its creation, over 6,500 yachts have sailed in World Cruising Club rallies.
