Edge

Write on the Edge is headquartered in Vista, CA, in north San Diego County. The company was founded in 1991 by Suzanne and John Hosie. Suzanne Hosie has a bachelor’s degree in math/computer science and a master’s degree in business management. Before founding Write on the Edge, she had several years of experience in the computer software field, including working in software support, quality assurance, training, marketing, documentation, and software system design. In addition to doing a lot of the daily writing and management work of Write on the Edge, she teaches technical writing at the University of California San Diego Extension. John Hosie manages all company finances, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. He also oversees the company’s infrastructure, including the computer systems, networks, and backups. Before joining Write on the Edge, he worked for 23 years in customer service and management positions in the restaurant and real estate industries.
