WP Dev Shed

WP Dev Shed is based in Auckland, New Zealand, and was started by me, Charles Coxhead, way back in 2012. It started out as an exercise in learning WordPress...the theory being that developing free themes would be the fastest way to learn what it takes to develop good quality themes. Since then the team has grown to 3.5 people, we've developed loads of themes with 1,000,000 downloads, helped 1000's of people start their own blog, created some plugins, and contribute as much as we can to the WordPress community, both in the way of content as well as helping the official theme review team. We are based in NZ, but there are users of our themes all over the world, principally the USA, but also throughout Europe, Asia, South America and Africa. The site is supported from income earned by referring webmasters to hosting companies and other tools and services (disclosure statement), but WP Dev Shed is not a web development agency. For this reason the support we can provide for our free themes is limited to bug fixes, simple theme config questions and basic CSS support. If you have more complex requirements you are better off approaching a local developer or getting a quote for support from somewhere like Codeable or WP Fixit.
