We uphold UMC's first-class manufacturing capability as well as a pragmatic and efficient management team to create maximum value for our customers. To align with UMC¡¦s operating plan, Wavetek fully acquired UMC Fab 6A¡¦s fixed assets and all 6 inch Silicon-based CMOS product lines in April, 2015. Through this asset transition, Wavetek formally entered the Silicon-based CMOS foundry business, and aims to further solidify its future revenue foundation and strengthen its financial structure by aligning closer with market demand to better address customer requirements. Expanding Wavetek¡¦s GaAs capacity will better serve global customers with foundry services and ample capacity to achieve corporate sustainable operations. By offering cutting-edge foundry services with the broadest product portfolio in the III-V and CMOS specialty technology industry and an optimized, unique and dual foundry business model, Wavetek expects to soon lead the global specialty semiconductor market.
