Founded in 1949, WUSA-TV is a CBS-affiliated television station licensed to the American capital city of Washington, District of Columbia. It offers local news, weather, traffic, and sports news services. The station is owned by Tegna Inc. and effectively serves as the flagship television property of the company. WUSA's studios and transmitter are located in Broadcast House on Wisconsin Avenue in the Tenleytown neighborhood on the northwestern side of Washington. The station's signal is relayed on a low-powered digital translator station, W50BD-D, in Moorefield, West Virginia.
