The Retailing segment, along with its subsidiary, operates large-sized specialty stores for sports equipment and items, such as skiing, snowboarding, golf, tennis, other outdoor sports, training goods, as well as men's and women's casual apparels, such as jeans, sweaters, sweat shirts, polo shirts and shorts, among others. This segment also offers men's, women's and children's clothing manufactured by a United Kingdom-based manufacturer, NEXT PLC, under the brand name NEXT. Its Service segment, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the operation of training and welfare facilities, the provision of office work services, the life and non-life insurance businesses, credit card business, the quality control business, as well as the holding of trust beneficiary right and the holding and management of real estate. On July 21, 2008, the Company established a Fukushima-based wholly owned subsidiary.
