Xi contributed to the design of the HAVWEAR using robust statistic methods to analyse vibrations from hand-held tools and how these vibration level are picked up by the wrist-borne meter. Xi continue to help clients with consumer product R&D. Consumer products are often very complex dynamic devices which require an understanding of the interplay between vibration, acoustics, electromagnetic and fluid dynamics. Xi provide expert advice, measurement, data processing and modelling that can help design out flaws, improve performance and optimise the design of consumer products.
