UOMZ

At present time UOMZ is actively developing and introducing the civil optical surveillance systems (SON) to the international market. One of such systems, SON 820, became a subject of talks with the manufacturer of navigation equipment for yachts and boats, Navicom company, being also a regional distributor of the large international company Invisat. The civil developments of UOMZ can serve as basis of surveillance systems for civil yachts and boats. Being installed on a mast, such systems allow to carry out surveillance of environmental space under conditions of limited visibility ensuring a stable image in the round the clock mode. According to the Head of exhibition bureau of JSC «PA «UOMZ», Leonid Rokeakh, a joint work for the maritime subject with JSC Research Institute (Holding company «Leninets»), particularly, in the sphere of adaptation and integration of day-and-night optical systems of SON type in sea ports to provide for monitoring and safety of water area can became very fruitful as well. At the Navy Salon there also have been carried out the talks on the prospects of installation of gyrostabilized optical systems SON on small and medium ships of JSC "Zavod Nizhegorodsky Teplokhod" production. A range of foreign delegations from Sweden, Canada, France and from other countries visited the stand of JSC «PA «UOMZ».
