Yellow Pages

Today we compile, publish and deliver over 160,000 free books to all local homes and businesses in Malta & Gozo with a 50/50 split on preference between print and digital. You might have thought that producing a chunky directory and sustainability have little overlap, yet smack in the middle you'll find Yellow's efforts in protecting the environment. We know that the world's resources aren't infinite and that we need to find alternative ways to grow while protecting the planet. Since our inception, we have steadily and continually invested in sustainability by recycling old and outdated copies of the directory through our distribution networks, while we have found a way to further contribute in the reduction of waste with the opt-out hook for users who prefer the digital platforms. We have also ensured that our product is green. We print on paper that comes from sustainable forests where on average for every tree that is felled, many more are planted. It comes to no surprise then that Yellow has been consistently recognised for its efforts and accomplishments by Malta's Cleaner Technology Centre.
