The excavation at Hungate presents schools with the thrilling opportunity to not only view a working dig, but also take part. The excavations at Hungate also form part of an archaeology degree from the Open University. Dig Hungate is offering schools a programme of sessions linking the award-winning DIG to the real excavation at Hungate. Your school can visit just the Hungate excavation - or upgrade your visit to DIG or JORVIK Viking Centre.
