Yorkshire Sound Women Network

yorkshire sound women network cic (yswn) was formed in 2015 with the aim of inspiring and enabling women and girls to explore sound and music technology in yorkshire and beyond. the organisation’s mission is to support a flourishing industry which welcomes, encourages and progresses the inclusion of women at all levels from studio floor to board room, and reflects the diversity of its participating communities. activities include workshops, seminars, informal skill-sharing sessions, networking and creative opportunities. based in huddersfield but linked to like-minded groups across yorkshire and overseas, yswn became a non-profit community interest company in 2018.
