Young Engineering & Manufacturing, Inc. was founded in 1987, and has proven to be a leader in the surge control market. Young Engineering surge and pulsation dampening products utilize state-of-the-art designs and are constructed in accordance with stringent quality control standards. Our 35,000 square foot manufacturing facility in San Dimas, California is an ASME approved weld shop for pressure vessel fabrication. Young Engineering holds Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) and Factory Mutual (FM) approval for small vessels in fire suppression systems. Young Engineering's team of engineers has more than ten decades of experience in the field of hydraulic transient analysis (surge analysis) and mechanical design. We offer innovative custom design as well as standard model surge vessels. Young Engineering products (bladder surge vessels and pulsation dampeners) are used in a variety of applications from fire protection and fuel handling to water, sanitation and petrochemical systems.
